The Miami County Heath Department (MCHD) recently released information regarding the ongoing Measles outbreak in Central Ohio. This information included a letter with information on measles, the outbreak, and best ways of protection against measles. In addition to this, the MCHD also released an infographic to help spot the symptoms of measles.

For those families that have a child with an exemption for the MMR vaccine:
Persons who continue to be exempted from or who refuse measles vaccination should be excluded from the school, child care, or other institutions until 21 days after rash onset in the last case of measles.
