SAFETY TOWN COMING TO BETHEL July 19th-23rd Presented by the Miami County Sheriff Office with assistance from other local law enforcement, EMS, and fire departments. The program is open to Bethel’s incoming kindergarten and first grade students. Each day they will be covering a different safety lesson-- seat belts, car seats, school bus safety, stranger danger, fire safety, gun safety, crossing the street, street signs, and traffic lights. Special guest speakers daily include local fire departments, EMS services, police K‐9’s, 911 Operators, and local school district bus drivers. Snack provided each day (cookie/juice) Children will be given a bicycle helmet, t‐shirt, gun lock, and safety handouts each day. Parents are welcome to attend on Friday, July 23rd to watch their child ride the big wheels and see what they have learned throughout the week. Graduation will take place at the end of the session on Friday to include diplomas, pictures, cupcakes, and juice or water.
