Kamryn Dumbra, Liona Norman, Natalie Sonnanstine, Grace Peirano, and Ibtisam Eljawad all competed in the Tipp City Rotary speech contest, memorizing 4 minutes speeches and applying them to the Rotary Club 4-Way Test.
Competitors were invited to the Rotary for lunch and the winners were awarded cash prizes— Grace placed 2nd and Natalie was 4th!
Thanks to the Tipp City Rotary for inviting us and providing students with this opportunity to hone their public speaking skills. Congratulations to each of these students on their great speeches!

The High School Creative Writing team competed at the Xenia regional competition on Saturday. Ibtisam Eljawad received 14th place, Hailee Norman was 13th place, and Scarlett Pfeiffer was 4th! All 3 will automatically qualify for the state tournament.
The Division I team of Hailie Norman, Kamryn Dumbra, Mackenzie Cain, Scarlet Pfeiffer, Lauryn Pikas, and Anna Williams won 3rd place overall and will all move on to state as well.

Bethel Local Schools and Bethel Athletics are proud to honor our 2001 State Champion Boys Basketball Team during halftime of the Varsity Boys Basketball game against Lehman Catholic on Wednesday, February 11th!
This special recognition will celebrate the achievements of the 2001 team and their historic accomplishment in bringing a state championship to Bethel. It's time for the annual Night of Madness, sponsored by the Prom Committee! BMS 7th and 8th grade students are invited out for a night of fun, including video games, dancing, an open gym, pizza, and lots and lots of glow sticks. Tickets are $15 and include dinner (pizza and soda). Activities Update for Friday, January 30th:
All activities scheduled for tonight, January 30th, and this weekend are moving forward as planned.
This includes the Bethel Athletic Hall of Fame recognition, which will take place tomorrow, January 31st! We will be honoring our three inductees, Kim Adams, Darrell McDaniel, and Milton Plunkett, between the JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games against Ponitz.

The fundraiser will run from 4-8pm, with 25% of event sales getting donated to NHS.
