Tasty Traditions orders are almost here! Orders can be picked up on Wednesday, November 6th, from 4-7pm in conjunction with Parent Teacher Conference Night. Good morning Bethel Families,
Buses 11 and 22 for Bethel Elementary may run a few minutes behind this morning. Thank you for your patience and have a great Thursday.

Our 5th graders just finished reading Thunder Rolling in the Mountains by Scott O'Dell. They completed a character comparison between two main characters in the novel. Students compared and contrasted their actions, words and beliefs, and included evidence from the novel to support their thinking. Be sure to ask your child what they thought about the story!

The Fall edition of Bethel High School's Newspaper The Buzz is officially here! This issue along with the previous archived editions can be found on their website, available through this link: https://sites.google.com/blsk12.org/thebuzz/home

Proud to announce that Legacy Stadium & Bob Haman Field has been selected as a neutral site facility for an OHSAA Southwest District Division IV Boys Soccer Final!
We will host Waynesville and Oakwood on Sat, Oct 26, 2024 at 7:00pm!
On behalf of Bethel Athletics and Bethel Local Schools, we want to thank all who planned, worked on, supported and financially contributed to this facility that helped make this opportunity possible! Here is to hopefully many more in the future!

Reminder! Out of an abundance of caution, the Bethel Local School District will be closed on Tuesday, November 5th, due to election polling. #BethelLegacy

Attention Parents: Bus 3 will be late today (10/22) due to mechanical issues. MVCTC routes are also running late; however, this should not impact students' ability to ride the elementary routes home.

Do you have a 3rd grader? Please read for important tips for tomorrow's reading state test!

Bethel Families: Middle School and High School students, who left behind personal items, can return to the building accompanied by a parent between 3pm and 9pm today to collect items from their lockers. Any items left in classrooms will have to be retrieved first thing in the morning tomorrow (10/22). As a reminder, school will resume tomorrow at our normal hours!

Dear Bethel Families,
We had a small fire in the middle school restroom this morning. Nobody was injured and the fire was contained in one stall. However, due to the smoke in the bathroom and the hallways it triggered the fire alarm and everyone was evacuated and is accounted for. The Bethel Fire Department recommended that we not reenter the building today. Therefore we are sending middle school and high school students home now. Bus riders will be picked up in front of the school as normal. Parent pick will be behind the school at the old football stadium. Staff will be assisting with all our kids. We will resume school tomorrow at our normal hours. Elementary is not impacted by this and will finish their day at the regular time.

Quarterly Reward Week was buzzing with excitement at our elementary school! Students worked diligently to earn their 3 Bee slips, demonstrating exceptional behavior by BEEing Respectful, Ready, and Responsible! And what a sweet reward! Those who earned their 3 slips got a special visit from the one and only Candy Man! They enjoyed a tasty treat and were super excited. A huge welcome to our new assistant principal, Mr. Walker! He's been a fantastic addition to our staff, spreading positivity and enthusiasm throughout the school. We're so grateful to have him on board! Congratulations to our deserving students and a big thank you to Mr. Walker for making our Quarterly Reward Week a sweet success! #BethelLegacy

Bethel Elementary wore orange on Wednesday, October 16th to send a visible message of building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, friendship, and inclusion to prevent bullying! Students made a paper chain that sends the message to unite to prevent bullying. While one person can speak out against bullying, our message is much stronger when we come together to make a difference! #BethelLegacy

Reminder! There will be a 2-hour early release for all grade levels tomorrow, October 18th!
MVCTC students will need to provide their own transportation home from Bethel due to the early release! #BethelLegacy
