Congratulations to our September Student of the Month Winners! They were recognized for showing initiative. Students received a certificate and goodie bag. They also had a snack with the Counselors, and have their picture on the cafeteria TVs at lunch so that their class can recognize them. Great job!

Tomorrow morning, Saturday, October 12, Bethel will be hosting the 2024 TRC Cross Country Championships! It will be a busy morning with lots of spectators so if you are planning to attend or have another event at the school, please look out while traveling around the lots and be patient and flexible with traffic and parking!
If you are attending for another event, volleyball game at the HS or youth basketball tryouts at the EL, please let the admission folks at the main entrances know.

Parking lots will open at 7:30am, Races will start at 9:00am and the races and awards will conclude around 12:00pm!
Admission is $5/person or $20/carload! CASH ONLY!!

Mrs. Gatrell's AP Biology class went on an ecology walk in the land lab on Wednesday, and discovered a huge edible puffball mushroom! Today, the students practiced some life skills in class, and learned how to eggwash, breadcrumb, and fry the mushroom! #BethelLegacy





Next Week, Oct. 14th -18th, is National School Lunch Week! To celebrate our Food Service Department will be hiding little treasures for students to find throughout the week. Students should also keep an eye out for clues each day, which will help lead them to a treasure at the end of the week! #BethelLegacy

The BHS Prom Committee is hard at work preparing for this year's prom! Today they took a trip down to the Dayton Arcade to see the space and to start planning the decorations! #BethelLegacy



Students enjoyed their rewards for the Tasty Traditions fundraiser today. We had candy bars, snow cones, a game truck and foam party!
Tasty Traditions orders will be available for pick-up on conference night, November 6th from 4-7pm.




Bethel Elementary School's character trait for the month of October is friendship, and will be celebrating Unity Day on Wednesday, October 16th! Wear orange to send a visible message of building community through kindness, acceptance, friendship, and inclusion to prevent bullying! #BethelLegacy

Literacy Night is on Thursday, October 10th, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Bethel Elementary Library! Parents and students who are currently in the Title I program are invited to learn more about the Title I reading services and learn some games and activities to do at home.

Tomorrow's (10/4) Homecoming Parade starts at 5:30pm with the Homecoming Court crowning to follow!
Teams participating in the parade are asked to arrive by 4:45pm in front of the Elementary School.
The parade route will start in the front parking lot of the Elementary building and follow the path shown on the parade route map below. There will be no entry into the stadium unless you have purchased a ticket for the game.
If you would like to watch the parade but do not want to buy a ticket, you can set up a lawn chair in the designated area South of the Elementary building.
