Bethel Local Schools - Educate with Excellence

Elementary Field Days start tomorrow, May 7th! This year's field days will be held at the new Bethel Stadium on May 7th and 8th. The times and groupings are as follows: - Y5s , K, and 1st Grade - Tuesday, May 7th - 9:00am-11:30am - 4th & 5th Grade - Tuesday, May 7th - 12:00pm-2:00pm - 2nd & 3rd Grade - Wednesday, May 8th - 9:00am-11:30am All students should bring a sack lunch and water bottle on their field day. The cafeteria will have sack lunches for those who do not bring one from home. Please be sure your child wears tennis shoes and comfortable clothes. Additionally, if your child is prone to sunburn, please send sunscreen with them or apply it at home. Teachers cannot be responsible for applying sunscreen. Rain dates are scheduled for May 9th and 10th, and parents and volunteers will be notified as soon as possible if field day is postponed. Thank you to all of our parent volunteers who have signed up to help! Please remember to arrive 1 hour early to get signed in at the office and help set up, and please stay after your field day session if needed to help with clean up. #BethelLegacy

Bethel High School Senior Spotlight! Julie Sebastian was a member of the National Honor Society, and played Soccer, Track, and Basketball while at Bethel! After graduating, Julie plans to attend the University of Dayton and major in Computer Science. #BethelLegacy #BHSClassof2024

Bethel High School Senior Spotlight! Paige Kearns played Softball, Golf, and Bowling, was a member of the Swim team, and participated in musical productions while at Bethel! After graduating, Paige plans to attend Heidelberg University in the fall, majoring in Nursing and minoring in Psychology, while continuing her golf career. She also hopes to obtain her Master's in Business Administration and attend the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. #BethelLegacy #BHSClassof2024

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Aviation section brought one of their helicopters to Bethel Local Schools as a learning experience for the 8th Grade Aviation Class. Students learned about the OSHP’s typical helicopter missions, and also got to witness the benefits of a helicopter (landing in small spaces with no runway). Thank you so much to the OSHP, and their troopers, for an amazing learning experience! #BethelLegacy

Mr. Kelley's Personal Finance Class had a Teen Teach-In at the Elementary School! The high school students taught the 4th-grade classes the importance of personal finance through fun examples and presentations! #BethelLegacy

Grace Watts was a member of the Thespian Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society, and participated in Trap Shooting, Volleyball, and Martial Arts while at Bethel! The Graduation Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2024 will be held at Hobart Arena on Sunday, May 19th, at 5pm. Hobart Arena is located at 255 Adams Street, Troy, OH 45373, and the doors will open at 4pm. No tickets are required for entrance, and seating will be first come, first served. Students in Ms. Ayers' Early IT Classes went on a field trip to the University of Cincinnati to see their 1819 building, learn about careers in the games industry and IT, and play in a tournament in their state-of-the-art eGames lab! #BethelLegacy
